Your Guide to Austin and Central Texas
Events
Austin is a city of events. Hardly a week goes by without a major event or celebration of some kind: seasonal, sports, festivals, marathons, civic, religious - the list is endless. Austin loves a good party and takes any excuse to celebrate the human spirit with fervor and enthusiasm.

Some events achieve world-wide notice and contribute millions of dollars to the local economy, such as the Austin City Limits Music Festival or SXSW. Others celebrate the unique character of Austin, such as Eyore's Birthday Party, helping to "Keep Austin Weird"! All of them keep Austin lively and vibrant and help unite the community.
