Brazos Place Condos | 800 Brazos St. Austin, TX
The Brazos Place Condos are one of Austin's most recent office building to condo conversion projects and it has a very rich history. Hugo Franz Keuhne, founder of the School of Architecture at the University of Texas, designed The Commodore Perry Hotel in 1948. The hotel was converted into an office building and renamed One Commodore Plaza in 1984. In 2006 - 2007, under the direction of Pomeroy Reinhart Stration Development (PRS Development), it has been transformed into mixed-use development offering luxury condominium residences, a smartly-planned office condominium and two levels of convenience and retail.
The Brazos PLace Condominiums feature 72 condo units from 1 - 4 bedroom and from 622 sqft - 2745 sqft. The original sales prices ranged from $250,000 - $1,575,000. The property was forced into an auction sale and roughly half of the condo units in this building were originally purchased at the auction.
